- Usage Data: Nicotine pouch logs you create, including timestamps, product information, and nicotine content
- Settings: Your preferences, goals, and app settings
- Device Information: Basic device type and operating system for app compatibility

We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the Roo app and its features

- Calculate your statistics and track progress toward goals

- Secure cloud hosting with Neon PostgreSQL
- Encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing)
- Secure token-based authentication (JWT)

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:
- With your consent: Social features (friends, leaderboards) only show data you choose to share
- Service providers: We use trusted third parties for email (Mailgun) and payment processing (Apple/Google)

- Export: Download your data in JSON format from the app
- Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Correct: Update your account information at any time

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove all your data within 30 days, except where required by law.
7. Children's Privacy
Roo is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
8. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: For payment processing and app distribution
- Mailgun: For sending account-related emails
- Neon: For secure database hosting
Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Roo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
